I started Slice Of Horse Rescue in the middle of 2013, I was only 19yrs old, since we have saved a few horses and plan to continue saving many many more! We save neglected, abused, unhandled, emaciated and healthy horses from a death sentence! Running a rescue always means we are out of pocket and so its a not for profit business. We are always looking new sponsors/fosters/donations ect. to help pay the bills. All horses are eventually adopted out once finished their rehabilitation. We have so many good days but many bad days follow, its full on running a rescue and takes a lot out of a person. I'm not in this for a profit or to make anyone happy, im in this business because I care about the horse and want to help them and make them happy!
